PROGRAMS
In addition to serving as a hub of activities and referrals for the region, the CVFRC offers a comprehensive range of structured programs—developed in direct response to identified community need. Most programs are offered free of charge or with a nominal fee to participants. Unless otherwise noted, all programs take place at the CVFRC.

Community
The CVFRC is working with Quail Springs Permaculture Farm to create the CVFRC Permaculture Imagination Sculpture Garden in the empty lot directly behind our facility. Developing in stages, the project will feature coiled earthen bag climb-on play sculptures, a community growing garden, a pollinator garden, fruit trees, an apiary, cob benches, interpretive displays, a storage shed made from alternative materials, and shade trees. Phase One saw the completion of two play sculptures. Check out our progress!
The CVFRC Permaculture Imagination Sculpture Garden is supported in part by the Santa Barbara Office of Arts and Culture.
